ONE of Venture Properties’ big fundraising events of the year was its recent Tour de Branch, the company’s own version of the Tour de France, to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
Dan Stephenson and Matthew Laverick-Elliott roped in colleagues, their family members and friends to do a 41-mile ride that started at the company’s most northerly office in Chester-le-Street and finished at its most southerly office in Darlington, visiting branches in Durham, Crook and Bishop Auckland en route.
After a hard day of pedalling the team raised £3,321.60 which Matthew and Dan proudly presented to the charity in the form of a big cheque.
