MIKE Rowbotham, site manager at Bellway Homes’ Queensgate development in Stockton, has won a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Award.
The awards scheme, which has been running for more than 30 years, recognises the skill and dedication of site managers around the country who must ensure their sites meet the exacting standards laid down by the NHBC.
“I am delighted to receive this award,” said Mike, from Redcar, who has worked for Bellway for some 20 years. “The NHBC reviews all our activities on a regular basis and I must thank my team which has worked so hard to ensure that Queensgate is an outstanding development.”
John Barnes, regional director at Bellway Durham, added: “Gaining a Pride in the Job Award is one of the highest accolades a site manager can achieve as only 400 are awarded nationally. The award recognises the skill of the site manager, his team and associated trades.
“Mike’s success gives our customers added confidence that they are moving into a first-class home.”
Mike will now go forward to compete in the next round of the competition when the Seals of Excellence awards will be announced this autumn.
