TO RAISE much-needed funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, Venture Properties’ Dan Stephenson, office manager of the Chester-le-Street branch, has roped colleagues, their family members and friends into a Tour de Branch, Venture’s own version of the world-famous Tour de France.
Working together, Dan and Darlington’s lettings manager, Matthew Laverick-Elliott, have devised a plan which includes 24 riders starting at the company’s most northerly office in Chester-le-Street and finishing at its most southerly office in Darlington, visiting branches in Durham, Crook and Bishop Auckland en route. A grand total of 41 miles will be covered by riders on ‘race day’ – Sunday, August 20. The event will start at 7am and aim to finish by 1pm.

As always, promotion on social media is crucial to gathering more support, so please follow the progress on facebook.com/ventureproperties or twitter.com/ventureprop and share/re-tweet the stories as we build up to the event.
