WRITER and broadcaster Ian Hislop had news for train enthusiasts when he launched an exhibition.
The Private Eye editor and star of Have I got News for You was opening India on the Move, at the National Railway Museum, York.
It explores the stories of the people featured in BBC documentary-maker Gerry Troyna’s Bombay Railway and Monsoon Railway films. Using images and video clips, it demonstrates how India’s vast railway infrastructure is the lifeline of the country.
Mr Hislop has travelled across India for an episode of the BBC’s Great Railway Journeys.
The free exhibition continues until September 7.
