New Darlington local history book to be launched
Chris Lloyd is to launch his new book on the history of Darlington on Saturday, February 21, 2015, in Darlington library with a free, illustrated talk. The book is called Darlington in 100 Dates and contains a selection of favourite historical stories.
The talk features stories in the book, and is called A Year in Darlo. It starts at 2pm, and everyone is extremely welcome to attend - there may even be a free cup of tea and a biscuit, but please book tickets on 01325-462034 in advance.
Darlington in 100 Dates is published by The History Press for £7.99 and will soon be available in Waterstones, where Chris is doing a book signing at midday on February 21.
