WHAT DID I SEE?
I went to the jungle and what did I see?
A lion who roared at me.
I went to the jungle and what did I see?
A monkey who pulled a face at me.
I went to the jungle and what did I see?
A koala bear that hugged me.
I went to the jungle and what did I see?
A cat who purred at me.
I went to the jungle and what did I see?
A tiger who jumped at me.
I think I’d better run.

LAST ORDERS
Once a place to meet old friends
And have a pint or two
Now so many boarded up
We are left with just a few.
No more to tinkle those ivories
As a singer sang their song,
Then when the beer reached our toes
We all would sing along.
The name of the pub
Displayed on a swinging sign
Might have been King’s or Queen’s Head
Or Lion preceded by those colours,
Golden, Black or Red.

FAREWELL
Michael Jackson, the King of Pop
Has come to an emotional stop.
He could sing, dance and entertain
One fault, he was a little vain.
Why he had to change his face
For all his fans were from many a race.
I can still see him walk the walk
I can still hear him talk the talk
But one thing now he cannot do
Is perform on stage for me and you.
When I hear his music play
I want to dance his way
As good as him, I could not be
But trying hard amused me.
So to all Michael Jackson fans out there
We will meet him one day somewhere
We’ll sing, dance and rejoice
For once again we’ll hear his voice.
Until the time we join him there
With the angels we know not where
His music will remain in our hearts
Giving a feeling we are not so far apart.
