Celebrity status
IS everybody else as fed up as I am
with the sight of Amy Winehouse's
over-indulged, petulant, vacuous
features caught on camera in some
or other escapade of drunken,
drug-fuelled debauchery?
This woman may have some
talent as a singer but, for an adult,
she is a total disgrace and her
behaviour is beneath contempt. So
why don't the media leave her to
her chosen lifestyle and its
inevitable consequences, of which
she's presumably aware, and spare
us further detail?
We don't want to know and some
of us, at any rate, don't care.
