Liberal Democrats

I THINK that the Liberal Democrats are on a different planet to me.

I have received a newsletter from Fiona Hall MEP.

On the second page she tries to claim credit for bringing Hitachi to Newton Aycliffe and securing 8,000 jobs.

Now correct me if I am wrong but wasn’t Phil Wilson the MP, along with The Northern Echo, the main campaigners for this development?

I never saw a Lib Dem anywhere near the launch or even when the component suppliers came to the Xcel centre, in Newton Aycliffe.

It’s about time that these people started to stop jumping on every bandwagon.

The credit must go to Phil Wilson and his campaign team and not the Lib Dems and most certainly not Fiona Hall.

The Liberal Party are at an alltime low.

Vince Crosby, Newton Aycliffe.

I agree. Next election will see them wiped out.

Will they? Labour recently pulled a sly one to increase support by making "The Muppets" movie.

All the Lib Dems have to do to increase support is shortly before the next election bring out "Fraggle Rock The Movie".

Thats the trouble with politicians in general. They will take credit for everything and accept blame for nothing.

And everyone will forget how all of these traitor parties have given away our country and have all helped erode our culture, traditions and values next time they vote. People have very short memories indeed. Would Phil Wilson be the same Phil Wilson who campaigned to keep the post offices open (even wearing the t-shirt) and then voted to close them in Westminster? 2066 is the date we become a minority in our own homeland. In certain parts of the world this is called genocide. Thanks to the likes of Wilson, Clegg, Cameron it is happening by stealth under our very eyes. And people will continue to vote for more of it come the next election. They seriously need to wake up and get away from the TV and the fluffy little world it creates.

The late Labour MO Ashol Kumar did exactly the same in Mbro - was seen in the press campaigning to keep them open but voted aginst it in Parliament - then tributes were paid to him at his funeral.
