Sun day

PHONE hacking, illegal payments and unscrupulous police officers have put the professional credibility of journalists at stake.

Rupert Murdoch has flown in to deal with the crisis yet all he has done is herald a Sun on Sunday.

In my view, the nature of the problem is not just down to a few journalists. It is an organisational issue. Will the values of The Sun on Sunday be any different? A new title must not be a distraction.

Bernie Walsh, Coxhoe.
