Abu Qatada

LABOUR has been very quiet about the release on bail of the terror suspect, Abu Qatada.

Labour, of course, introduced more draconian measures than Josef Stalin.

Detention without trial, prohibition of photography, withdrawal of the right to protest, to name but three.

These measures have come back to bite this country with the release of this man.

Coupled with the Coalition’s love affair with Europe and its subsequent subservience to the Human Rights Act, the UK has another terrorist on its streets, albeit for two hours a day.

Britain should, without delay, bundle this vile creature onto a plane and ship him off to Jordan.

We will be told how naughty we are and be fined but so what?

Before the bleeding heart liberals condemn the bail conditions imposed on Qatada, let me point out the victims of al Qaida are not in any position to enjoy the small liberties this monster is granted.

Their families, unlike his, have been permanently deprived of their presence.

Colin Mortimer, Pity Me.

This letter is not about Quatada, it's about Labour bashing.

I have read and re-read Colin's excellent letter and fail completely to see how it can be construed as "Labour bashing".

In that case David, you can't have read the first two sentences. Also you may be unaware as Colin Mortimer evidently is, that it was under a Labour administration that Quatada was imprisoned in 2008.

Check with the NUJ.

You've been misled on the photography front.

Under a British National Party Government, this animal would not have got into our country in the first place. Imagine how much of the money wasted on him could be put to good causes to benefit our people, particularly the aged who are freezing to death. When are people going to wake up what our current traitors in Westminster are allowing to happen and the threat from these medieval practitioners of the religion of peace.

If Abu Qatada doesn't want to be deported to a country under Islamic rule, why then do they demand that Britain should come under Islamic rule?

Given that Abu Qatada is wanted for questioning in other countries (such as Belgium) where torture is outlawed, why hasn’t David Cameron had Abu Qatada extradited to one of these countries? Equally, a recent court case has made public yet more individuals, who though British by birth or naturalisation, have be imprisoned for declaring war on their own country and intending to kill their fellow Britons, so why aren’t such individuals being charged with treason?

Equally if people can lose their benefits for refusing work, if their families can lose their homes if they commit a crime, why isn't this been applied to those involved in terrorism?

European treaties, multiculturalism and fear over accusations of racism not only prevents this, but it is why Britain has become a safe haven not just for those involved in protection rackets, guns, drugs, slavery, gang rape, sex trafficking, child prostitution, but also for terrorists, political and religious extremists.

Tremendous stuff CT. And the £170,000 he mysteriously "had" will be returned. So how can he then receive benefits?
