I MUST agree with David Coglan who wrote to HAS about bin collections (Jan 26).

Once again, it is the Labourrun group at Durham County Hall making decisions about fortnightly collections and where to buy the bins from. Don’t rate payers have a say? Not everyone has room for three bins in their garden.

I will be changing my vote from Labour to someone who will speak up for the residents and not the party.
