PLEASE can I use your newspaper to thank Thixendale wildlife artist Robert Fuller for his actions in helping to bring a gang of low life scum to justice by taking secret photos of them.

Sadly, the powers that be have not shown the same courage and let them off with ridiculously short prison sentences.

We were not told whether they were banned from keeping dogs or from holding a gun licence.

It is worth remembering that people such as these who take pleasure in torturing and abusing helpless animals sometimes go on to do the same to children.

The name of Moors Murderer Ian Brady comes immediately to mind.
