Too presumptuous...

ON Wednesday morning I received a most unprofessional election address from North Durham Labour MP Kevan Jones.

Firstly, he addressed me in the letter by my Christian name as if we were old friends. I’ve never even seen the man.

Then, he went on to state that when Labour came to power in 1997 that “Britain was a divided country”. I should like to point out to Mr Jones that it is even more divided since Labour has sold vast chunks of it to the EU in the name of socialism and its European dream that the vast majority don’t want.

He states that the investments of the past decade have improved our lives. We in Sacriston have received a village clock and a Christmas tree that was the laughing stock of the nation.

The people of County Durham are now suffering at the hands of a unitary authority that 74.8 per cent of voters rejected. Mr Jones’ response was that “this was a great day for the people of Durham”.

This man hasn’t, doesn’t and won’t listen to the voice of the people. It’s time for a change.

Bruce Reid, UK Independence Party Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, North Durham.

He's just a typical New Labour MP, full of himself and his parties daft ideas which are costing the country dearly but I would bet that he 'cons' his way back into the well paid job he has while the people who vote for him sign on the 'dole'.

People want big changes in their favour and they are not prepared to let go to that extent.
