Misuse of mobiles

ON my recent visit to Darlington I had to ask if the law on the use of mobile phones while driving had been lifted as so many people were using them.
They where not using them secretly – in fact, quite the opposite.
How many road deaths are needed until there is some sort crackdown to stop it once and for all?
