AT Prime Minister’s Questions on June 24, my local Labour MP, Phil Wilson (Sedgefield), asked a question.
His query wasn’t about the scandalous running down of our local hospital (Bishop Auckland General Hospital).
Neither was it about the rising youth and adult unemployment in his constituency, which is witnessing the worst economic slump since 1958.
Nor was it about the growing drugs epidemic (cocaine) gripping many of his voter’s towns and villages.
None of the real problems facing the people of Sedgefield were addressed by Mr Wilson.
His question was on the only subject which concerns him, the BNP.
The man is obsessed and it is costing his constituents proper representation in Westminster.
He is failing the people who elected him.
