IF you have never voted or are voting for the first time tomorrow, you may worry about what to do.

It’s really easy. If you have received a poll card, you are registered to vote. You can take it with you to the polling station. If you have lost it, your name is recorded.

Go to your polling station and give in your polling card or just give your name and address. You will be given a voting paper. You go into a little booth and you put a cross against the name/party of your choice. You only have one vote in the General Election; this is for the Member of Parliament that will represent you. When you have put your one cross, fold the paper and post it into the black box in the polling station. That’s it!

If you have any concerns the staff there will help you.

If you have small children you cannot leave, you can take them into the polling station with you.

Remember you do not have to take your poll card.

If you have a postal vote and have not used it in this election, you can take your postal vote form down to your polling station tomorrow and you can vote in the usual way.

The most important thing you can do tomorrow is to vote. It’s your choice.
