THE only country in the whole of the European Union that truly seeks independence is the United Kingdom.
The Scottish National Party is not seeking independence for Scotland, it is seeking its dependence within the European Union.
Why? Because Scotland isn’t strong enough as a country to survive on its own.
The truth is that Scotland has a choice of being a dependant nation as part of the United Kingdom with a significant say in Westminster, or of the European Parliament where its significance would be insignificant.
