IN response to S Brooks’ letter about Cllr Nick Wallis (HAS, Mar 15).
He helped to pick the litter from outside my house last year. I contacted him about all the rubbish that is just dumped outside the front of my house.
There is a wall where ignorant foul-mouthed yobs sit and eat and drink whatever they’ve bought from nearby shops then drop empty cans, polystyrene trays and the paper from their fish and chips.
There are two bins but these kids don’t know what they are for, or maybe having to walk a few yards is too much like hard work.
Maybe their parents haven’t told them about disposing of litter correctly, but either way if they are challenged about it they react with disgusting language. I often wonder what their parents would think about all of this.
