I AM tired of the Brexit moaners (sadly including The Northern Echo) who strive to paint a gloomy picture after we leave the EU.

Economically, the UK seems to be prospering and all forecasts thus far predicting financial disaster have been wrong.

However, business was not the sole reason why so many voted to leave.

I was weary of legislation I didn’t want drafted by people I didn’t vote for working for an organisation that hadn’t passed an audit since its inception.

Ted Heath sold us all a pup when we were persuaded to join the Common Market.

David Cameron’s lukewarm attempts at trying to change the way they operate failed, so it remained to either to like it or lump it. The majority of the UK, in an unprecedented turnout, voted to lump it – that part is over so can we move on please?
