IT is impossible to find books for young children that include both ethnic and disabled child characters in the same story.
My book, "Sam and her Sporty Friends", to be published later this year will help to raise awareness of race and disability for children.
The book will promote unity and tolerance, and copies will be sent to schools. This is more important than ever because of rising numbers of hate crimes.
