MOST of the Remainers seem to have accepted the result, but there’s a hard core intent on doing everything they can to slow down or stop the implementation of Article 50.

They have also portrayed those of us who voted Leave as uneducated, northern, knuckle-dragging racists.

I was born in 1948 to hard working parents, a miner and a factory worker, who did without to put me through grammar school. I passed both exams for Mensa with an IQ of 155.

The Referendum was a simple Leave or Remain vote. Nowhere on the ballot paper did it say Leave, only if the conditions are favourable.

Being born in 1948 I sampled life pre-Common Market and, in my opinion, the UK was a far better and safer country then. The EU has had more than 40 years to get it right and has failed miserably to improve living standards of the lower paid.

If we lose a few contracts due to Brexit, those earning huge salaries, managers, directors etc. will have to earn their money, getting out and about and winning new contracts, instead of just raking in profits on the back of paying low wages.

The PM must implement Article 50 at the earliest opportunity, as Pandora’s Box has sprung a leak.
