NEW figures released by the Office for National Statistics last week confirmed again that net migration into the UK is still running at around 360,000 which, when added to the previous last two years, takes the figure to more than one million.

In spite of protestations by the Government that it is taking the issue seriously, it does not seem to be making any difference at all. Our Government is happy to tell us that it is creating hundreds of thousands of jobs but clearly these are being taken by the incomers.

When are ministers going to act on their promises and when will Brits be at the front of the queue for jobs?

Everyone knows that these increases are placing huge pressure on all of our services to the point that they are approaching a total breakdown. This additional strain is also adding huge costs to the delivery of these provisions and, in an attempt to balance the books, means that austerity measures fall on the least able to cope.

Although the Government is not pulling its weight we also have Labour which feels that there is no need to do anything and that unlimited migration is something it welcomes.

Does the party welcome it because most of the migrants vote Labour?

It is well overdue for our political parties to focus on the needs of the disadvantaged and curb migration and be more proactive in removing those that have no entitlement to be here; after all that is the law of the land.

DR JOHNSON advised when debating a subject you should first of all clear your mind of all hypocrisy.

Isn’t it time for other people, English politicians and journalists to heed Dr Johnson’s advice on the subject of migration?

We are told the millions of migrants from Poland enrich England.

If that is so, why have the 40 million living in Poland itself not enrich Poland itself ?

What is true of Poland is more or less true of most other states too, including Ireland and Scotland which want to stay with Brussels.

Westminster should grant them that wish by imposing compulsory independence on both Scotland and Ireland complete with border controls.

As for France and Germany both say England should take in more migrants yet both of them, and practically all other states in Europe, will need millions of more people before they get to England current rate of population of more than 1,000 people to the square mile.

Apart from the fact England probably has more Europeans here than there are English people in Europe it’s more than time English politicians and journalists began seeing an English point of view if only as a novelty.

By adopting England’s population rate per square mile Turkey will need 300 million more people, which means it can accommodate the whole populations of both Iraq and Syria and still be less populated than England is now.

Turkey is a Muslim state too.
