I THINK Labour’s Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell has a nerve calling Ukip an "evil force" in British society.

I believe both he and his party need to look in the mirror before throwing stones.

If he did he will find that it is his Labour Party that now contains two leaders who are sympathetic to past IRA terrorists.

He quotes from Chairman Mao’s red book - this is a leader who was responsible for the deaths of many millions of his own people.

This is the hard left Labour Party that has members who attack people with past mental illness then will not sincerely apologise. It contains members who sneer at patriotic white van man for flying St George flags and it has a leader who cannot bring himself to sing the national anthem in respect to the brave fallen UK troops.

It is no wonder that Labour councillors in the Oldham Royston by-election are warning of a significant backlash and shift to Ukip as the working class are becoming increasingly wary of the Labour Party’s anti-patriotic stance towards the monarchy, the UK and the British Armed Forces.

Unless the Labour Party soon wakes up and realises what it has done it may well disappear like the Liberal Democrats.

It desperately needs to get back in touch with the people it is supposed to represent and realise working class people do not necessarily hate their country. If not, they will become the evil force in UK politics.
