UNLIKE Barry Chapman (HAS, Oct 9) I was delighted that a Muslim woman won the Great British Bake-off.
I was sad to learn this morning that a Romanian lady in this country with a degree in chemical engineering has to be content working as a taxi driver. Her English language skills were faultless.
To me, it shows that we have some way to go to arrive at the sort of society we could be if we shared the right values.
