I HAVE been following the Scottish parliamentary elections in the hope that the SNP would win a landslide.
But if I were a Scot I would note that public spending generally is higher in Scotland, care for the elderly is better, education is better, health services are better, if I want to I can stick my oar anytime into English business while the English are ruled out of having any say in Scotland... and then I might think that if these English mugs are prepared to let me have all this, to what clearly is their own detriment, do I really want to be independent?
Maybe not, but as an Englishman, I certainly want them to be.
