WHILE a diminishing number of people may not agree with Jeremy Corbyn's policies, one has to give him and his team full marks for turning a mundane election into something quite exciting (Echo, Aug 19).
Throughout the country, including in the North-East, meeting venues have been overflowing. Although there is no support for Mr Corbyn among Tees Valley MPs, there is further north.
Mr Corbyn and his team have played an absolute blinder by calculating what rank and file members want from their politicians. Plus what they don't want, which is what appears unfair criticism from Labour's former hierarchy.
Mr Corbyn looks home and dry. His next task will be to stop the Labour Party splitting apart, and then it is to become Prime Minister.
He's done it once against the odds, who would back against him going all the way?
