HOW earth shattering wannabe Labour leader’s comments Liz Kendall will be to many Labour members (Echo, May 22 'Kendal's bleak message to Labour'). While many (including me) will agree with most of her comments, the far left of the Labour Party will be organising to get its favoured candidate to win the leadership stakes, and it wont be Liz Kendall. Liz appears to be tuned in to all aspect of Labour’s problems, past and present, plus the future pitfalls if they don't change.

She has been tarred with the Tony Blair brush by several people in order to jeopardise her chances.

I believe Liz has the ability to take the best from all sections of politics and bring them together as an acceptable package which will appeal to voters, if she can overcome the barriers that will surely be put in her way by the anti Blairites.

Of course what some conveniently forget, despite taking us into an illegal war he did win three elections and introduced the minimum wage.

Tony Blair was acceptable to the vast majority of the electorate - Ed Miliband wasn't.
