POLITICIANS of all parties never miss a trick do they? I refer to the obviously stage managed picture of David Cameron looking adoringly and feeding an orphaned lamb in The Northern Echo (April 6).
The message perceived I think on seeing this picture would depend if you are anti or pro David Cameron.
His supporters would think: "Look at our glorious leader showing his kind, compassionate, caring side to this vulnerable little animal."
The antis would probably look at Mr Cameron and imagine him thinking: "Hmm new potatoes, fresh garden peas, a little gravy and some mint sauce. That's next Sunday's lunch taken care of if I can sneak this lamb out."
My conclusion? Its such a pity he can't show his kind, compassionate side to vulnerable people who are suffering hard times.
