PROFESSIONAL Yorkshireman Harry Mead sums up my sentiments on the of reburial of Richard III in Leicester (Echo, Mar 25). He states the case for York but then says that Leicester did the work to find the body.
This sums up the whole process – it is purely a commercial venture and has disregarded any connections Richard had in the North Riding.
Heaven forbid that history would interfere with business.
