WILL somebody please explain to me what the heck Nick Clegg is talking about when he states that a coalition with the Lib Dems is vital with the forthcoming General Election just around the corner?

The Lib Dems are no longer the third party, so they do not enter the equation.

I fully expect them to disband altogether after April because their public treachery has not gone unnoticed.

Pay-back time is coming and, shortly after, hopefully extinction.

Vince Cable promised not to raise VAT, but his party walked through the Yes door with the Tories and thus increased it from 17.5 per cent to an agonising 20 per cent.

As for Nick Clegg, I only need to mention tuition fees and everybody remembers his signed sworn pledge which hopefully will ensure he is living in one of the many villas in Spain that he or his wife owns.

Good riddance – his departure will be welcomed by millions of us here.

The straw that broke the camel’s back is the Lib Dems’ audacity of harping on about the £10,600 tax allowance, which is only coppers to a low-paid working man and is swallowed up by the VAT increase on everything.
