ON Sunday, January 4, I watched David Cameron on the Andrew Marr Show on BBC 1. With his shiny face inclining to the right he said he wanted to be judged on his record.

This got me to thinking, what is his record? Well here are some of the highlights: No plans to raise VAT and no top down reorganisation of the NHS.

The largest number of A&E department closures in NHS history.

Some 3.6 million people targeted by spending cuts.

More than 3.5 million children living in poverty.

Hundreds of thousands of people forced to accept zero hours contracts.

People in full time work still need benefits and food banks to survive.

The number of legal local sharks has proliferated.

The economy is under control, but we are borrowing more than Labour did.

A £3 billion tax cut for top earners.

And this, Mr Cameron, is the record you and your millionaire cabinet want to be judged on?

And let’s not forget what he said about immigration: “No ifs, no buts, if immigration is not down to the tens of thousands by 2015. Vote us out.”

Well as this ship has sailed and, I assume, sank, do you want the number of a reliable removals firm Mr Cameron?
