I THOUGHT I knew most things about Elvis until I watched a documentary about him called Elvis by the Presleys on Channel 5 the other night.
Not only did it show what a legend he was, but how generous a man he was.
He bought all his 12 bodyguards, known as the Elvis Mafia, a new car each and even bought a house for one of them, something I didn't know about him. I can't recall any other entertainer who has done that for his friends.
This documentary was followed by his1968 comeback special where he performed on a small stage dressed all in black leather.
It showed what a great performer he was back then, the best of all time, and yet some people say he wasn't that good, but in my opinion they must be made of wood.
