MARGARET Thatcher abolished apprenticeships in this country and a number of years later we were short of skilled people, so the Government had to bring in foreign skilled people.

With them came their wives and families who we had to provide with accommodation, free health treatment and education.

Now the Coalition has cut the number of places for young people to train to become nurses and the result is we are having to bring in thousands more nurses from foreign countries to provide for the shortfall.

This will show that this government have once again increased immigration.

The next thing we will be short of is professional people because of the tuition fees being increased to £9,000 and when some people go to university for seven years it will cost £63,000 in tuition fees.
