Life on Mars
COMMENTING on George Osborne's Autumn Statement Iain Wright, the MP for Hartlepool, said that it contained more financial investment for Mars than it did for the North-East.
There may be a simple explanation for this.
Mr Osborne, with his shrewd head for figures, may have calculated that there are more Tory voters on Mars than in our region.
