I KNOW it’s early days but I’m already fed up to the back teeth with all the endless and irritating Christmas adverts on television.
They are going to run non-stop now until December 24 then after that we will be bombarded with endless and irritating party political broadcasts (aka propaganda) until May 2015.
At the end of the day, both sets of advertising offer something unobtainable and imaginary using smoke and mirrors to convince us all that something of value, for more, lots more, of our money can provide an answer to all our desires, and fulfil all our prayers and needs.
Roll on June 2015 when reality will kick in again and we will be back to the status quo with most of us feeling no better off.
