I READ an interesting article at the weekend, comparing Ukip’s rise with Germany's political position in the 1930s.

It stated that Ukip has filled a void in British politics, by being the anti-establishment party which has a charismatic leader who tells people what they want to hear.

It promises jobs and houses for the working class.

It promises lower taxes for the middle class.

It promises your country back for the patriots.

This has all come about because people are sick of hearing the same old clap trap from all of the major parties. People are latching on to Ukip as their saviour.

I feel that there is just enough time for the main parties to up their game and start listening to what ordinary people have to say.

If they do not, then this country will deserve every thing that it gets.

That being the beer-swilling Nigel Farage. Everyone should be aware that Mr Farage is so far right of Margaret Thatcher that he is off the radar and could yet have a say in dictating a future Goverment’s policy. If that happens, heaven help us all.
