I READ with interest your front page about the deployment of a team of British medics to Sierra Leone where they will help tackle the growing Ebola crisis (Echo, Oct 8).

Britain is very good at putting boots on the ground but, in this case, how do we bring them home?

Surely they will have to come home several at a time and be put into quarantine for a number of weeks to ensure they do have any sign of the illness?

Currently, the UK only has a handful of hospital beds capable of looking after anyone suffering from this horrific disease.

In my opinion we should keep out of this situation and play safe.

We have already donated £125 million to this country.

Do we really need to put British lives at risk?

Travel to this country should be stopped to all the regions around this area with no flights in or out of the UK.
