I CHALLENGE anybody, as a first time visitor, to navigate their way into the car park of the Talpore Beefeater pub at the River Tees Barrage.

Having wasted about a gallon of petrol you will eventually find the real thing, but then, gasping for a pint of their real ale, you are forced, at meal times, to join an orderly queue of people who are actually waiting to order their lunches.

Somebody needs to get their act together, buy a paintbrush, a pot of paint and a piece of wood and sign arrow the pub entrance.
