AS an impartial observer of the yes/no campaign, may I suggest that both parties adopt the “EU referendum method” of voting. By this I mean if your party does not achieve the necessary majority support in the first ballot then just repeat the procedure until the result you desire is obtained.
This seemed to work in other EU ballots, such as in Ireland, so I heartily recommend it to the Scots.
