I WAS amused to read the sports commentating awards letter (HAS, Aug 11) and thought the winning choice strange.
Clare Balding is not only to be avoided on BBC TV, she is host to Channel 4 Racing, BT Sport and a presenter on BBC Radio 2.
She is also a popular author and her latest book is just out.
May I suggest that what one reader thinks may not be the same as the rest of us.
