So let’s remember exactly what it was the Liberal Democrats promised at the 2010 General Election.
They said they wouldn’t raise university tuition fees and then trebled them.
They promised not to increase VAT, then voted through a VAT rise on hardworking families.
They pledged a fair tax system with the wealthiest of people paying more, but have given millionaires tax breaks paid for by millions of hardworking families.
Some time ago the Lib Dems produced a list of 100 pre-election promises they say they have kept.
But the Lib Dems haven’t been a brake on this Tory Government, as they claim.
Instead, they have been complicit in everything David Cameron and his Cabinet has done.
The average working family is now £1,600 worse off.
