SO that’s it for another four years.
The World Cup is over and the best team won.
I have loved the past four weeks going up the club or sitting at home with a few cans of lager watching all the games.
I’ll be a bit lost, but I’ll bet there are a few football widows who are glad it’s all over.
It has been a good World Cup with plenty of goals and incidents to talk about.
My main concern was too much cheating and too many fouls. The foul on Neymar, by the Columbian defender Juan Zuniga, was deliberate in my view and broke a vertebrae in his back. Surely he should have been punished with more than a yellow card?
The best team won but I say that through gritted teeth because my money was on Argentina.
Maybe next time.
