MY newspaper of choice for the last 30 years has always been The Northern Echo, and I’ve always found it a railway orientated paper, and rightly so, being right at the heart of the birthplace of the railway.
But, increasingly, any reports in the paper regarding railways describes without fail a railway station as a “train station”.
They are not, never have been and never should be.
