WHATEVER your view on fox hunting, I am sure your readers will agree that dogs running loose on road is dangerous.
It is not uncommon to see hounds crossing busy roads and being hit by a car, even killed, not to mention that they cause a risk to the driver.
Last week, hounds were on a road near Quarrington Hill at about 3.45pm when visibility was poor. It was a shock when they appeared in front of the car before running off.
Surely there must be some road safety law which would apply to keep dogs under control?
