Healthwatch North Yorkshire Needs YOU!
Would you like to help influence Health and Social Care Services in North Yorkshire?
We are recruiting for the role of Chairperson (Voluntary) of Healthwatch North Yorkshire. The key criteria being that you are able to represent the views of others whilst having significant knowledge and or experience of health and social care services.
Healthwatch has been set up to give local people across North Yorkshire a new way to engage with their local Health and Social Care services. We are set up to represent the experience and views of local people, including those who use health and social care services in North Yorkshire, and to ensure that patients, carers and the public can access good quality information about health and social care. Healthwatch will enable all members of the public to share their views and experiences about the quality of services, and this will in turn bring the voice and influence of local people to the development and delivery of local services.
Healthwatch North Yorkshire will have volunteers working actively all over the County, who will be supported by an Executive Board to oversee this work. The Chairperson of Healthwatch North Yorkshire will represent Healthwatch on the North Yorkshire Health and Wellbeing Board.

There will be a small honorarium payment made annually to the Healthwatch Executive Board Chairperson.
