DAVID SHAKESPEARE is trying to find the family of a former Middlesbrough and England international goalkeeper.
He is Reginald Garnet Williamson, who may have links with Mr Shakespeare's family particularly his grandmother Doris Ella Manning nee Taylor.
Mr Williamson played more than 600 games for Middlesbrough - a club record - and won two international caps.
He was born in North Ormesby in 1884 and lived in Redcar, where he died in 1943 after an operation. At the time he lived in Coatham Road. He is buried in Coatham Cemetery.
Anyone who can help can contact Mr Shakespeare at david.shakespeare@btinternet.com.
