TERRY BROWN is trying to find information about two families from Darlington.

He is researching the family history of William Henry Stephens and Frances Hope, who were Mr Brown's great-great-great grandparents.

Mr Stephens was a sailor prior to becoming a teacher in Darlington. He married Miss Hope in 1794 at St Cuthbert's Church, in Darlington.
