A FORAY into the world of fashion has proved so successful for the Yorkshire Agricultural Society (YAS) that they are doing it again.

The team behind the Great Yorkshire Show successfully launched their own Tweed jacket and scarf earlier this year.

Now they have added to their ensemble with a stylish cap in the same wool cloth which features the society’s colours of green and gold. The style is such that it can be worn by men and women.

Nigel Pulling, YAS chief executive, said: "The success of the men’s jackets and scarves has been amazing, they have been snapped up by people the length and breadth of the country and were a sell out at the Great Yorkshire Show.

"It has also prompted requests for additional garments to be included so we commissioned the caps and for next year we are also planning to add women’s jackets to the range."

The caps can be bought in Fodder, the society’s shop and café at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate and at Clarksons in Petergate, York.

They come in an extensive range of sizes and are priced £39.95 with a discount for YAS members. All proceeds go towards the society's work supporting agriculture in the region.
