Sharon Griffiths

Sharon was born in Pembrokeshire, West Wales and had a typical 1950s Famous Five sort of childhood roaming the countryside.

After learning to type at what is now the University of Teesside she then joined the BBC. Sharon worked in radio and television in Oxford, London, Birmingham and Southampton before marrying fellow Echo columnist Mike Amos and settling up North.
