STOCKTON'S Brother NRG DriverPlan tasted the winner's champagne in Malta on Sunday.
Will Brown produced an amazing performance to take victory at the four-stage Tour ta Malta race on the Mediterranean island.
A final stage breakaway saw him claim the leader's red jersey with fellow local team-mates Jack Rees finishing seventh and Tom Timothy 18th.
In the women’s race, Middlesbrough-based EDCO Continental made their debut with Ellen McDermott producing a superb fifth place overall, with team-mates Jenn Batey and Hannah Farran in 13th and 16th place respectively.
Back in the UK, there was an 11th place finish for Dan Bigham at the HSBC UK Spring Cup Tour of the Wolds race, while North-East rider Anna Kay claimed victory for EDCO Continental in Round 2 of the MTB Series in Catterick on Sunday.
